Rob Sands will step down as CEO of Constellation Brands on March 1, 2019, the New York-based alcohol beverage company announced today.
Assuming the role from Sands will be Bill Newlands, who joined Constellation as chief growth officer in 2015 and took over as president from Sands in February.

Heineken completed a deal to take full control of California-based Lagunitas, after the Dutch brewing giant was encouraged by efforts to expand the brand in a handful of international markets.
On Thursday, Heineken (HINKF, +0.91%) said it acquired the remaining stake in Lagunitas in a deal that has been closed. Terms of the transaction weren't made public.
